Registration for our upcoming Warsaw conference has opened and we’re excited to spotlight our hosts, Octo Legal!
💡What are you most excited about as the conference host for Interact Law’s next conference in Warsaw in May?
What excites us most is the opportunity to welcome Interact Law members to Warsaw for the first time and to showcase both the strength of our local legal market and the city itself.
We’re really looking forward to meeting members of the Interact Law community whom we haven’t yet had the chance to meet, as well as those we already call friends.
We’re thrilled to exchange ideas, engage in meaningful discussions, and further strengthen relationships within the network.
💡How has Octo Legal helped shape the conference agenda?
We’ve been planning the conference from the moment we found out that we would be hosting it. We focused on developing new ideas for panels, identifying the best spots in the city for our guests, and selecting activities that reflect the history and strength of Warsaw.
💡What part of the conference programme are you most looking forward to?
We’re looking forward to the combination of high quality event content and the joy and entertainment outside of the conference room!
We’re delighted that we will have the chance to introduce you to our Octo Team and give you a tour of our 23rd-floor office, from which you can admire the panoramic view of the city.
💡What is a ‘must see’ or ‘must to’ for our members whilst they are in Warsaw?
Warsaw is a city full of contrast. It perfectly mixed modern glass towers with restored pre-war buildings reflecting both the city’s history and its dynamic growth.
Some must-sees in Warsaw are:
💫The Old Town – beautifully rebuilt and full of history, followed by a walk along the Vistula River;
💫Royal Castle – a Baroque Claccicist royal castle located in Warsaw in the Old Town Square;
💫Warsaw Uprising Museum – the museum is a tribute of Warsaw’s residents to those who fought and died for independent Poland and its free capital (NB: we will be visiting this museum as part of the conference programme on Saturday morning);
💫Łazienki Royal Park – perfect place for a walk or jog in a green and quiet environment;
💫Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw – a municipal cultural institution;
💫Copernicus Science Centre – interactive centre. Its goal is to develop science, cooperate with scientists and teachers, and, according to the institution’s mission, inspire observation, experimentation, asking questions, and searching for answers;
💫Zachęta – National Gallery of Art. – perfect for all art lovers;
💫POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews – a museum documenting the centuries-long history of Jews in Polandsible but completely achievable.
