Get to know our member Piotr Witecki, Partner at OCTO Legal, who first got involved with Interact Law through his collaboration with CEE Attorneys and Board Member Zdenek Tomicek.

How are you involved in Interact Law?

Our journey with Interact Law began through CEE Attorneys, a firm founded by Zdenek Tomicek, whom I met in Istanbul in 2011 during our time at DLA Piper. After spending 13 years at an international law firm, my partners and I launched OCTO Legal, and our collaboration with CEE Attorneys continued to grow.

Two years ago, Zdenek introduced us to Interact Law, and we joined the network. This relationship has been instrumental in expanding our global footprint and strengthening our ability to serve clients across multiple jurisdictions.

How has the network benefited your practice so far?

Being a part of a strong international network is very important for OCTO Legal and is a natural path of development. The network has provided us with a powerful platform for international coverage, enabling us to seamlessly advise clients on cross-border matters with confidence and efficiency.

It has also enriched our team’s global perspective, especially after the meeting in Prague last year, where we built strong professional relationships that continue to benefit both our firm and our clients.

What is your experience of advising on cross-border matters?

Having worked at an international law firm for 13 years, I know firsthand how crucial it is to operate as a cohesive, cross-border team.

What does success look like to you?
